Notions, expectations, role models, ideas … Nora and Ives, an actress and a dancer practice love. Because it belongs to life. Because it is beautiful, complicated, something to laugh or to cry about. They are around fifty. They face their insecurities, question the audience, question each other: do you need a love affair to be happy? Why did you marry? When was the last time that you were in love? They search, find, reject, let their bodies speak. What is cliché? What is true? They are thwarted by society’s norms, face the pain and the desire to have something of their own. The search never ends and that is fine!Liebe üben brings love down from cloud nine to the stage boards, where they rehearse, sweat and work. To the place where everything is possible.
