Welcome to the Cultural Breakfast at the FFT Düsseldorf. This free offer is for everyone who wants to take a look behind the scenes of independent theater and talk about it with others! Every 2nd Friday of the month we invite you to our foyer to meet artists and other guests, current topics and new plays.

On the occasion of the FFT anniversary, a student group went looking for traces. What documents, which memories are left behind after 25 years of boundary-breaking theatre between performance, digitisation, institution, and Düsseldorf urban space, between discourse and artistic practice, between play and seriousness, between curation and collaboration?

The square in front of the KAP1 is busy throughout the day, with people who want to rest or who work in the vicinity, asking for directions, or look for a place to play. How could this square become a space wherein people not only linger but actually feel comfortable in? The FFT and its cooperation partners want to create opportunities to shape ideas on being together in the train station neighbourhood.

What a happy coincidence! The FFT anniversary party takes place only mere weeks before Jewish New Year Rosh HaShanah. Ariel Efraim Ashbel and friends combine both to form a unique, custom-made performance ritual.

Together with the audience, She She Pop transform an empty theatre stage into a wish machine that constantly creates new forms of togetherness. Everyone does what they want – but everything that happens must be conjured up publicly beforehand. If now works according to these two rules.
