Conceptual artist miu and his team invite you to a performative installation excursion. It starts in the theatre foyer, and the audience then boards an historic tram car to travel to a specially staged space in the urban landscape (and back).

While on the way, uncommon perspectives on movement in the city reveal themselves: Everyday means of locomotion transform into clandestine choreographies; familiar sounds and the three performers’ voices condense into acoustic waiting areas. The transitory space becomes a dwelling, future-oriented wait time turns into an exploration of the now. There is an open audio description available that puts the space, movement and invisible connection into words for both the non-seeing as well as the seeing audience, and which becomes part of the soundscape.

As the second part in the “train train” trilogy, the project has been realised in cooperation with Arbeitsgemeinschaft historischer Nahverkehr Düsseldorf e.V. „Linie D“ and Rheinbahn.

『Train Train 2/3 (分岐点への短い旅)』

コンセプトアーティストmiuと彼のチームによるこの作品は、移動型の劇場作品。観客はFFTのロビーから出発し、旧式の路面電車に乗り込み、特別に演出されたデュッセルドルフの或る地点へと向かう。移動中には、都市内での移動に関する非日常的な視点が提供され、日常的な移動がまるで密かに振り付けられたダンスのように変容していく。移動は続く。移動のための場所が滞在するための場所となり、何かを待っている時間が今という瞬間を探究する時間になる。多様な視覚を持つ観客に向けて、空間、動き、見えない様々なつながりが3人のパフォーマーの言葉で伝えられ、その声は音の風景の一部となる。このプロジェクトは三部作「Train Train」の第二部として、路面電車保存協会「Linie D」及び公共交通機関「Rheinbahn」の協力により実現される。
